For Science
Sexual & Asexual
What’s the difference between Sexual
& asexual reproduction? Asexual reproduction is when an orgasm splits into
two, creating an identical copy of it. Sexual reproduction is when a males’
sperm fertilizes a females’ egg. The sperm gives twenty-three chromosomes, and
the egg gives twenty-three chromosomes. All together its forty-six chromosomes
that make us who we are, different from other people. The mixtures of traits
from our parents are what make us so unique and not equal from people around
us. After the egg gets fertilized it transforms into an orgasm. That is how you
are born. Asexual reproduction usually happens to plants & cells. Normally,
Sexual reproduction occurs to humans, animals, and maybe insects. Plants,
bacteria, and low invertebrates are all asexual reproduction orgasms. An
advantage from being able to offspring identical is the offspring will get ALL
the good traits from that one parent. A disadvantage is it will also get ALL
the bad traits from the parent and it will be hard for the offspring to adapt
to the environment. An advantage of Sexual reproduction is the varieties of
traits from both parents make it easier to adapt to the environment they are
living in. A disadvantage is uniqueness, sometimes they don’t have the trait to
survive.
